In this AU, the story of the Cy-bugs is slightly different. While they can be vicious man-eaters, they are meant to be bonded with people. The problem arose when they weren't bonded with anyone, and so they became mindless eating machines. Too many produced, not enough connections. So they became wild and unruly, multiplying without end.

Skip ahead to Wreck-It Ralph. The first Cy-bug that hatched when Ralph knocked it immediately became attached to him. While the bond was not reciprocated, she still clung to him. Others, not attaching to something in their first few moments, attacked and clung and were dragged to the escape pod. But it was the attached Cy-bug Calhoun and Felix saw. She remained juvenile when they all went to Sugar Rush. While the others were flung elsewhere, she remained attached to Ralph and traveled with him along his journeys, quickly becoming friends with Vanellope when they became close. She was named Sweetie by Vanellope and remained almost puppy-like as the girl enjoyed feeding her and watching he change.

She survived through the end, held back by Calhoun so she didn't end up zapped. She's since been a loyal mascot to the Hero's Duty gang, carrying Vanellope on her back after hours.
